Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 29, 2026
Gyanplug is operated by Monkfox Education. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Personal details you give us, such as your name, contact details, education, counselling preferences, payment details for paid services, your AI Diagnostic answers, current stage and what you are exploring, and anything you share with counsellors. We also collect non-personal data through cookies: device, browser, IP address and pages viewed.
2. How we use it
To match you with counsellors, build your profile snapshot and recommendations, communicate with you (including sending your evaluation confirmation), personalise your experience, process payments and run analytics.
3. Sharing
With admission counsellors, third-party service providers, authorities when legally required, and a successor in a merger or sale of assets. Verified milestone scores are visible to hiring partners on the Corporate Talent Dashboard and to anyone you share your personal proof link with; you control that link.
4. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies
Used for site functionality, usage analysis and personalisation. You can manage cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
6. Your rights
You can access and update your data through your account settings, ask for it to be deleted (subject to legal retention requirements), withdraw consent for future contact, and unsubscribe from marketing emails — email info@gyanplug.com to action any of these.
7. Children
The site serves students from Class 11/12 upward. Where a user is a minor, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in signing up and in any paid service, and data collected from a minor without that involvement is deleted promptly.
8. Third-party links
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites we link to.
9. Changes
Updates are posted on this page. For significant changes we notify you by email or a notice on the site.
